When Obama's mother re-married, it was to an Indonesian man. After they were wed, all three moved to Indonesia. In order for Obama to be eligible to attend school in Indonesia, he would have had to become an Indonesian cititzen. Indonesia did not allow for dual citizenship at the time so he would have had to give up his U.S. citizenship in the process.
This means that upon returning to the U.S. he would have had to go through U.S. immigration. He would then become a naturalized U.S. citizen and in turn become ineligible to run for the public office of U.S. President.

She's Obama's late father's half-sister, whom he met once on that trip to Kenya. He hasn't had much contact with his father's many relatives. There is a story in that she was able to donate to the campaign, I will admit. Regulations haven't kept up with technology, for one thing. But the fact she's related to him doesn't add anything new to that problem.

Odinga was trying to associate himself with Obama politically because Obama is a hero in Kenya (with schools and streets being named after him). After looking into it, my respect only INCREASED for Obama after viewing/reading the speech he gave on that 5 nation fact-finding tour of Africa (simultaneously destroying claims that Obama has no foreign policy experience, and that Obama misappropriated funds on that trip because he stopped by to see his grandmother). A re-occurring figure in the smear campaign against Obama is Jerome Corsi. You might remember him from such books as "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry" and "The Obama Nation". Corsi put forth many of the popular debunked smears in his book. The fake birth certificate claim leaped from the blogosphere to the mainstream media when Jerome Corsi brought it up on Fox News. Corsi claims to have obtained documents and emails proving Obama donated to and supported Odinga, but those documents are widely criticized on both grammar and authenticity. This guy is a real slimebag, and anyone caught quoting him should immediately be laughed at.
This is the failure that is the internet driven smear campaign propagated by the Conservative nut-jobs. They chose to promote fantasy after fantasy in hopes they won't get caught in time. Had conservatives stuck to real issues, had they had clearer convictions, and had they painted a clearer picture of how to reach a sunnier tomorrow, they could have won my vote.
