- Dabaum, on 11/21/2008, -6/+44Still so much better than lame Kimbo fights
- LongShlong, on 11/21/2008, -1/+6That's not saying much.
- IRAcarbombs, on 11/21/2008, -1/+9Kimbo couldnt hold Diego 's (RIP) or Castillo's jock strap .... Kimbo is a F%$#n joke.
- BaconBaron, on 11/21/2008, -3/+3to be fair, kimbo is in MMA not boxing. still lame, though.
- miltiad, on 11/21/2008, -1/+5Could we really say MMA when we speak of Kimbo Slice ?
- rosco01, on 11/21/2008, -0/+3It's not MMA when the fighters are paid to stand.
- mzx639, on 11/21/2008, -3/+4Boxing may not have all the glitz, glam and lame t-shirts of MMA, but it's a classic, timeless sport, with far fewer clowns.
- antistupid, on 11/21/2008, -5/+6boxing is a dead sport, get over it.
- mzx639, on 11/21/2008, -6/+3Dead? Haha, boxing will never die. MMA is a fade, and cheap one at that. It's a sport for the idiots that took ritalin when they were in grade school.
- jabbajabba, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2Boxing is a totally different class to some back alley brawler.
- LongShlong, on 11/21/2008, -41/+4Uh... Was boxing ever really entertaining?
I submit, no. No it was not, nor will it ever be.- IRAcarbombs, on 11/21/2008, -4/+9We cant all have a subscription to Golf Digest ..... idiot.
- LongShlong, on 11/21/2008, -14/+2Right... Defend one boring sport with an even more boring sport. Although sarcastic, ultimately you fail because you didn't really say anything in it's defense. I'm still right.
I'd much rather box than watch it. The only watchable sport, for me at least, is UFC.- johnquincysmith, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3You submit that boxing is not entertaining. As of now, 20 disagree with you, and 0 agree. I don't even need to further comment. You should be smart enough to get where i'm coming at.
- LongShlong, on 11/21/2008, -2/+1Going with the crowd is fun!
- skyroket, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1Being a trolling douchebag is not as fun as you thought, is it?
- borez, on 11/21/2008, -3/+5Go play guitar hero and leave digg alone
- broh, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2Your comment and your ID is based on your own delusion.
- hawksfan03, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2you should watch the video
- commenter01, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3 Was boxing ever really entertaining? Yes. Why else would it be practiced for such a long time? People enjoy watching other people get beat up. Very few people seem to agree with you.
- IRAcarbombs, on 11/21/2008, -1/+47One of the the Top 5 Greatest fights of all time ... R.I.P. Corrales
- Cglass, on 11/21/2008, -5/+4But I thought he won =(
- Jetstreamer3, on 11/21/2008, -0/+26He decided to drive his motorcycle drunk...quite unsuccessfully . That's what R.I.P. refers to.
- Brian994, on 11/21/2008, -0/+8Very drunk I might add. His blood alcohol was .25! Still, that sucks he died.
- micro23, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1But I think he was going through a rough patch before this... He fell off his game. Sad. Drinking and driving claiming another live.
- browe07, on 11/21/2008, -3/+2I think if it wasn't drinking and driving it would have been something else. Diego Corrales had too much heart to make it in this society. One of the best fighters ever.
- bcclist, on 11/21/2008, -4/+2Download and burn to a DVD or buy a copy of this entire fight on Ebay for $1.99 or whatever the going rate is now - best investment in time/money you can ever make. Replies with something about Apple TV.

- howufinna, on 11/21/2008, -1/+11It would've been better if you actually did google that for us at letmegooglethatforyou.com instead of take us to a digg article.
- Larsonal777, on 11/23/2008, -1/+1Yeah... are you a comp sci person... the only people i know that are douchbags and say go look it up yourself are comp sci people. I've never met an EE or any other engineer who does that. I swear if you go to a comp sci forum... you'll see more go look it ups than actual answers to anything. Its a ***** comment section... the question was put out there... NO ONE forced you to answer it!
- litothegreat, on 11/21/2008, -0/+21motorcycle crash and he won cause the guy lost consciousness while still on the ropes, which kept him standing. ref stepped in to prevent brain damage when deigo was gonna two piece his limp head.
- Cglass, on 11/21/2008, -0/+80.25 blood alcohol content while riding a gixxer in vegas and decided to pass a car, at which point he slammed head on into his death.
- holzy44, on 11/21/2008, -1/+8its kalled a TKO
- JeffNothing, on 11/21/2008, -0/+10He didn't go down because his limp body was being supported by the ropes.
- billizm, on 11/21/2008, -2/+4You can read how he died, here:

- ColonelJessup, on 11/21/2008, -0/+9RIP Chico.
- mrdctaylor, on 11/21/2008, -5/+8He died in a motorcycle crash. Why is this showing up on Digg's main page? Is it the anniversary of his death or something?
- borez, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Nope, that's May 7
- mrdctaylor, on 11/21/2008, -0/+9Odd timing, but a GREAT round of boxing. Definitely one of the top 10 rounds of all time in my book.
- litothegreat, on 11/21/2008, -2/+1no he died in may, did u even watch the video?
- ShylockHolmes, on 11/21/2008, -0/+12Because it was one of the coolest fight moments in history.
- luke16, on 11/21/2008, -0/+16Does it matter that he's dead? It's a ***** good round of boxing and i'd rather watch this then Sarah Palin standing infront of some chicken farmers.
- foofightrs777, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1I heard that she was at a ***** fight....
- noizeuk, on 11/21/2008, -0/+14Great round of boxing, from both fighters.
- aidanno, on 11/21/2008, -0/+9One of the greatest rounds in boxing history...
Some of the Gatti-Ward rounds were phenomenal as well.- sirmo, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Gatti-Ward fights were my favorite. It's like watching real life Rocky but so much better.
- kimsun, on 11/21/2008, -0/+0Gatti got destroyed by Mayweather though
- RealDealRick, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Don't forget Barrera/Morales and Vazquez/Marquez
- mnemy, on 11/21/2008, -1/+14It's showing up because that was an amazing come back. I never saw it either.
If you can bring back the same stupid motivational poster every 3 weeks, don't complain when an amazing come back TKO makes it to the front page after 3 years. - Broschati, on 11/21/2008, -0/+35This is what boxing is all about.
You don't have to be a huge fan to appreciate this - tawnos, on 11/21/2008, -1/+8Intense.
- Konny, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3One of my favourite rounds of all time, I could never get sick of watching this fight.
- borez, on 11/21/2008, -12/+6Although this is one of the greatest boxing comebacks of all time, why is this on Digg?
- chirt, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4Why not? I'm no fan of boxing, but it was entertaining.
Anything goes (almost) on digg. - Brian994, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4It's on Digg because someone submitted it. It made the front page because people Dugg it.
- chirt, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4Why not? I'm no fan of boxing, but it was entertaining.
- pandaboy99, on 11/21/2008, -13/+4This is the best that boxing has to offer?... its no wonder I like MMA so much better.. boxing is dead
- browe07, on 11/21/2008, -1/+2There's a lot more than meets the eye in both boxing and MMA. There is an intriguing technical side to both. If what draws you is the brutality and you need instant gratification you will no doubt prefer MMA. But boxing is far from dead. Its the sweet science that makes it great.
- dondada619, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4You have to watch this whole fight to fully appreciate this round. It was one of the greatest fights, if not the greatest fight EVER. --RIP Diego "Chico" Corrales
- latin69, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1RIP CHICO!

- stevensj2, on 11/21/2008, -3/+1You know your comment is going to be dugg down, yet you post it anyway?
Go you. - browe07, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1I dugg it down because I disagree, but to avoid commenting for the fear of being dugg down would be pretty gay.
- scubaman5000, on 11/21/2008, -8/+3AAAAAAAAADDDDRIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!
- Managua8Green, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Wow, damn good fight, I want to see more fights like this nowadays
- keyvoh, on 11/21/2008, -7/+8In my opinion, boxing is much more entertaining than UFC. I'd much rather see two people strategically punch each other than watch two men in tights wrestle on the mats.
- SexyFarts, on 11/21/2008, -1/+7So you'd rather see a neutered form of fighting where grown men wear huge padded gloves over their hands, can't kick, can't knee, can't elbow, can't wrestle, can't submit, can't throw, hug each other after every flurry, and produce far more injuries due to the 10 count rule?
Just so you know grappling, wrestling, submitting, and striking all at the same time takes far more strategy than throwing punches alone. I enjoy boxing too but all this 1 sport is better than the other bs is getting old.- thebigdirty, on 11/21/2008, -5/+2"all this 1 sport is better than the other bs is getting old."
You realize that you just argued against that statement, correct?
- thebigdirty, on 11/21/2008, -5/+2"all this 1 sport is better than the other bs is getting old."
- scubaman5000, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5All that wrestling on the mats is far more strategic than you might think. There's tons of examples out there... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kT-9k-m3xNY
- crazyhorse13, on 11/21/2008, -6/+3I agree with keyvoh. MMA always deteriorates into leg holds and submissions. It may be a whole lot more useful in a real fight, but it makes for a really boring sport. Not that boxing is THAT much better, but at least they aren't allowed to hug each other for the whole match.
- Hypermarkalan, on 11/21/2008, -2/+2I'd even argue that it's not "more useful in a real fight." It's more useful in a fight where there are no treacherous objects on the ground, where the opponent has no friends waiting to stomp you in the head, or where you need to strike and run the hell away so law enforcement doesn't get you.
MMA is still a sport. It's just a sport with different rules.
- browe07, on 11/21/2008, -3/+3I'd say MMA has the potential for more strategy, but due to either the complexity or the youth of the sport (or both) it hasn't really been realized yet. So when you watch a good boxer you're usually seeing something closer to perfection and elegance than when you watch a good MMA fighter. I'd watch either sport any day.
- antistupid, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4spoken like someone who truly doesn't understand the sport

- bstew22, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5i heard "fight him with a cow"

- blazewide, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1ok that was amazing
- INDOAZZ, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2Whoa what a round. ACTION PACKED!
- pitdog, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3That guy is game. Like a good Pit Bull. True fighter. Respect.
- minerva43, on 11/21/2008, -1/+1Sounds like you've read A Fighter's Heart.
- Pusod, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4I thought fights like this only happened in MOVIES! This was something Rocky would be proud of!
- RealDealRick, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1One of the greatest rounds and fights of all-time.
- pearlygate, on 11/21/2008, -2/+1did he win by TKO? I don't get why the ref stopped the fight even when the opponent hadn't been KO-ed yet.
- cloudcity, on 11/21/2008, -0/+2I'm not a huge boxing fan, but I watched this live at a friends house and it was epic. Best fight I have ever seen...
- Exedous, on 11/21/2008, -2/+0That is exactly why you don't mess with Columbians that are half Mexican.
- CarStan, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4how long will it take for Hollywood to make a movie about Corrales?
- mzelaya, on 11/21/2008, -1/+4At 1:36 his coach says:
"you gotta *****' get inside on him now".
LOVE that! - 4ZERO1, on 11/21/2008, -4/+1Great fight, but this was ***** stupid ref.
- gubatron2, on 11/21/2008, -6/+1Bullcrap, Boxing is becoming Smackdown 2.0
- TheMikeStone420, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2you're an idiot.
- SuperMoses, on 11/21/2008, -1/+3I'm not sure what the score was, but why the hell did Castillo keep moving forward when it appeared he had the fight won. Also, it's kind of messed how a fighter falls and he gets time to get up and recompose himself, but if the fighter gets hard shots by the ropes, he has no time and the ref just calls the fight. It almost seems like falling is a better strategy than taking trying to stand when getting pummeled near the ropes.
- qsamba, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Greatest round ever. Maybe the greatest fight ever. If you haven't seen it find the tape. Absolutely incredible...
- dlsmith2, on 11/22/2008, -1/+1R.I.P. CHICO
- dafragsta, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1I used to watch WWF as a kid because I liked comebacks like that. Too rarely do they actually happen in real life.
- kogeki, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1One of the best fights ever. RIP Diego Corrales. Loved that guy. Ricky Hatton vs Paulie Malignaggi tomorrow night. Hatton is going to knock him out.
- blacktriangle, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1That was just as good as Frank Dux vs. Chong Li!!!
- kaosethema, on 11/22/2008, -0/+2when i realized that the fight was turning, i was on the edge of my seat... at work, with co-workers staring at me!!
- Karbonista, on 11/22/2008, -0/+0Castillo acknowledged that he would have been knocked out after one or two more punches. Still, the quick stoppage was unfortunate. Castillo had a reputation for never having gone down in his career. Ultimately I think didn't really mind that he was called out on his feet, for that reason. Saw it live on PPV, was already a huge Corrales fan. There are those who think Chico's motorcycle accident was intentional -- he was pretty messed up after this fight, got his ass kicked in the rematch when Castillo came in overweight, then declined the "superfight" that would have been his big payday, when Castillo showed up overweight again. Given the damage he took in these two fights, he was never the same and probably would never have had another shot at the big payday. Corrales was one of the most determined professionals in the business and deserves to be remembered as one of the best.
- constantine111, on 11/22/2008, -0/+0want to see a real fight? youtube mark hunt vs jerome lebanner
any of the 3 fights - saintgasoline, on 11/23/2008, -0/+1That was certainly an excellent round of boxing, but in my mind his win is tarnished by continually spitting out his mouthpiece to buy time to clear his head.
