I think the big thing parents have a problem with is that the internet has taken away from parenting. By this i mean, no longer do kids approach them about drugs, or sex or how to handle specific situations. Because of the information one can get on the internet, it kind of leaves the parents on the shelf.

Hell, I've known and talked to people online (text and voice) in western europe, canada, australia, and from around the states where i live in for years. 2) With access to the whole world, basically, the net may not be a bad place to educate a kid
