      I completely missed everything about this meteor. The light, the sound...everything. I'm ever so pissed off that it was a brilliantly kickass event that occurred so nearby...that I'll only ever get to hear everybody else talk about it.

There was something quite high in the sky making a rather step decline with a short quickly disappearing trail. Really haven't a clue though, just something I made quick note of while watching The Daily Show/Colbert Report.

It turned night into day for about 5 seconds, leaving my night adjusted eyes quite blind for a few seconds, before fading out somewhere to the west. Most cars pulled to the side of the road to wait for blindness to pass. I didn't hear an impact, so who knows how far up it was.
