- Dinsdale77, on 11/20/2008, -1/+26I'm still using the Pirate Bay for this, just out of spite.
- georgemason01, on 11/20/2008, -0/+10I'm not even going to do that out of spite. This entity impersonating the real Guns 'N' Roses doesn't deserve my acknowledgement.
- kamisama, on 11/20/2008, -2/+1The real ones did?
- punkcat, on 11/20/2008, -2/+2i pirated it, but i plan on buying it when it comes out.
***** if i have to wait for myspace.
i like the album, most of the stuff is "old" now but more polished compared to the leaks.
- georgemason01, on 11/20/2008, -0/+10I'm not even going to do that out of spite. This entity impersonating the real Guns 'N' Roses doesn't deserve my acknowledgement.
- thegamingguy, on 11/20/2008, -0/+30Don't forget to get your free Dr. Pepper the day it comes out.
- Mjeacoma, on 11/20/2008, -0/+8I wonder if more Dr.pepper will be acquired than actual sales of this GUARANTEED dismal album.....
- RealmDown, on 11/20/2008, -5/+1There is no period after "Dr" on a Dr Pepper beverage. This is a constant in the universe and must be obeyed.
- derekmas10, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5As every guy knows... no period is a bad thing.
A very bad thing. - daridave, on 11/20/2008, -3/+1Thank you for that estrogen-filled, bitchy, complaining "you wrote Dr Pepper wrong!1" moment. They never get old.
- derekmas10, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5As every guy knows... no period is a bad thing.
- chanop, on 11/20/2008, -0/+6How do I redeem my free DrPepper?
- chazzblazer, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I think you go to the website on Nov 23 and print out a voucher or something.
- pantone287, on 11/20/2008, -3/+31LMFAO. Myspace. GNR has fallen a long way in the past 17 years.
- counterplex, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3This sounds like some publicists bright idea.
"Axl, Axl, Axl! The world has CHANGED man! You NEED to put this on Myspace man! It's where it's ALL at!" - BeaverThePyro, on 11/27/2008, -0/+1I think Axl should get together with Tila Tequila. Then we could have an all-MySpace trainwreck to watch
- counterplex, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3This sounds like some publicists bright idea.
- KaiserArny, on 11/20/2008, -2/+17I was at that Metallica/G'N R show in Montreal in 1992 that turned into a riot.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNR-Metallica_Stadium ...- brad3378, on 11/20/2008, -3/+2I would have KILLED to be at that show!.
.......well, not really, but you get the idea.- KaiserArny, on 11/20/2008, -1/+4He picked the wrong city to act like this. Montreal is known for its riots.
- bffoley, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1You would have wanted to pay for a ticket and then had both acts leave early? And then get hit on the head with a folding chair?
- ghebert, on 11/20/2008, -1/+3My friend, who is sitting next to me as I'm typing this, was also there... he said it was surreal!!!
- Ryosen, on 11/22/2008, -0/+1I saw that tour in NJ and Axl pulled the same ***** with walking off of the stage. By that point, he had done it several times and it came off as nothing more than a ***** publicity stunt. People started throwing lighters at him just to piss him off. I don't remember if they even finished their set.
Looking back on it all, I'm starting to wonder if they were just intended to be an opening act.
- brad3378, on 11/20/2008, -3/+2I would have KILLED to be at that show!.
- WordsnCollision, on 11/20/2008, -7/+22Anyone still care about Guns N' Wheelchairs?
- austang, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5My friend administrates a Elderly Retirement Facility, he does.
- derekmas10, on 11/20/2008, -1/+3It's administers
- austang, on 11/20/2008, -1/+5My friend administrates a Elderly Retirement Facility, he does.
- cweber40, on 11/20/2008, -1/+8I went to the 92 Metallica/G'N R show at the Rose Bowl but we didn't riot. Sucked in comparison to Montreal!!! :)
- AmericanGunner, on 11/20/2008, -6/+2you are so hardxcorexx
- CGProphet, on 11/20/2008, -3/+2ugh. aren't some original band members mia?
- Mjeacoma, on 11/20/2008, -0/+9like...um......all but Axel - haha
- Slothapotamus, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4The only original band member there is Axl Rose. He either sacked everyone else or they left. Most of the original guys are in Velvet Revolver (Slash, Duff and that drummer they had, Matt something).
- theOster, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Sorum - i honestly liked Steven "Popcorn" Adler better than Matt. not in terms of drumming ability, but in terms of coolness.
- Jektal, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I think Buckethead did some work on a few tracks.
- lpferris, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1He did, but he is not an original member.
Original members (Appetite for Destruction) were:
Axl Rose
Slash
Izzy Stradlin
Duff McKagan
Steve Adler
- lpferris, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1He did, but he is not an original member.
- ElectroStep, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Even the replacements got fired over a few years. The amount of people who went to record stuff for this album and didn't even make it to the final cut is pretty high.
- newznozzl, on 11/20/2008, -2/+5And this makes it slightly more useful: http://digg.com/software/Download_MySpace_radio

Still from what I've heard of the album it sounds good.
Not 14 years good, but then again it was never going to be. - Me004, on 11/20/2008, -2/+4
- vermax, on 11/20/2008, -0/+5seriously. I was waiting 17 years? I did not know that. YAWN, go away Axl, maybe get another chemical peel you doof.
- fuckingusername, on 11/20/2008, -4/+6in other news Real Player and AOL team up to make a new social blogging site .
- daivos, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2How many of the original members are still in the band. Slash isn't part of the group anymore, right?
- davdev, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Just Axl
- damndj, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I guess Dizzy Reed, although he came in before Illusions.
- damndj, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I guess Dizzy Reed, although he came in before Illusions.
- davdev, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Just Axl

It's been
14 years of pain
It's been
14 years that are gone forever
And I'll never have again- Stomper622, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4haha, well done sir.
- MaxMWood, on 11/20/2008, -0/+14This album does not sound like Guns N Roses, because it isn't. It's just Axl Rose.. it's a fairly good album but not by Guns N Roses standards.
Bring back Duff and Slash! More Appetite for Destruction!- mike17032, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Nothing after Appetite sounded like Appetite. I am with you that it was a ***** awesome album, but I liked all of their later stuff too.
I like the new one too, again its different but I still like it. To me, Axl was always Guns N Roses. I liked Slash and the rest, but I loved GnR because I loved Axl.
And now its time to bring on Duke Nukem Forever!
- mike17032, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Nothing after Appetite sounded like Appetite. I am with you that it was a ***** awesome album, but I liked all of their later stuff too.
- AlaskaLoneWolf, on 11/20/2008, -5/+6Wow. MySpace for a bunch of washed-up no-talent over-weight middle-aged drunk, stoned, "musicians" who sold out to the corporate world in the eighties when butt-rock was 'cool'... man, what's next? Is "Tom" gonna' bring back disco for the eurotrash community? I sure hope not. I fvcking hate MySpace: A Friendster abortion that caught-on with the idiot-generation and lowered the collective IQ of the entire computing world.

- warden1337, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2This album is already old.. Been listening to it for over a month. Better is really the only decent song. thx TPB. :)
- kevyn, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1the album has been available for 4 week, and that is enough for you to class it as old??
- derekmas10, on 11/20/2008, -1/+17over 15 years in the making and it still sucks ass.
- pooljoe, on 11/20/2008, -0/+9It isn't GNR anymore and hasn't been for years. One member of a group doesn't warrant the use of the same name made popular by others in my opinion
- btschul, on 11/20/2008, -4/+9People still use myspace?
- theOster, on 11/20/2008, -1/+3washed up has-beens do...
- pgouy, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4People still like Guns N Roses?
- MeatMountain, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4Without Slash and the rest of the band to rockify it, I'm afraid every song will be like November Rain but without the kickass riffs and solos. With nobody to keep him in check, Axel devolves from a chainsaw voiced rock frontman into a huge whining, moody, puss.
- bobdigi, on 11/20/2008, -2/+5Debut on Myspace?? I got it in FLAC format already. Thank you internet.
- Falldog, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2It's okay, I wasn't going to listen to it anyway.
- Chamrox, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2Um. I knew someone that acquired it about a year ago from a friend of a friend. He or she let me listen to it. Then they promptly destroyed the computer that it was downloaded on. Not because he/she was worried about legal action. They did it because it sucked.
Unfortunately it's more like Use Your Illusion 3 than Appetite, and sounds 17 years old. - doshindude, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4wow, Myspace? really? GNR really is dead.
- lpferris, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2It's just like 1991 all over again - new albums from Metallica and G N' R, neither of which are really remarkable.
- kedohmen, on 11/20/2008, -1/+1The first time I heard this album -most songs- was, like, 3 years ago. There have been a lot of different versions of these songs, it's been interesting to hear the progression. I have to say I think I like my latest leaked version of the album (about 10month ago) a bit better, seems more raw and not as polished as the final product -I'm still gonna buy it.
There are some really good songs, but the album overall isn't great. It is just a good album. I will agree and say it doesn't sound like GNR, and should be called "The Axl Rose Project" or whatever awesome title they'd come up with. - holyreality, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2yeah, it leaked a while ago.
- ObeseSnake, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Who?
- pilotlicense, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1"and you can hear it legally before it goes on sale next week"
Or illegally since before last week. - DrStephanHeimer, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7Guns 'N' Roses otherwise known as Fatty Mcgee and the guys who aren't Slash
- justice7, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1has the final release leaked yet?
Last version I heard was crap, really crap. - NeoCortex, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1This is great. I don't give a ***** about either so at least now they are both in one place.
- JoeyDeacon, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1The version I took off bittorent a year ago isn't as bad as I expected but it certainly isn't a GNR album. It is kind of like a G/ album to Velvet Revolver's /R.
- bundwallah, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1In other news, bears continue to ***** in the woods. No Slash, No Duff, No Steve..... = Not GnR! Sorry Axl, you sing like a mofo and will go down as a great frontman... but this is better labelled as your solo album.
- mediaspree, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2Its funny how the play count of the songs goes down as you descend through the playlist. I made it through about 5...
- mike17032, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Some of my favorites were near the end, like IRS and Madagascar.
- mediaspree, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1Respect. I went back and listened to them. Good stuff there.
- sdbyrd, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1is it me or does it not make sense to stream it for free before a release? if it sucks, you leave no chance for the "it might sound good" buyer?
- tigerpixel, on 11/20/2008, -3/+3Anyone saying its good or bad right away are idiots.Give it time,it took 17 years and now you ADD freaks judge it after the first 5 songs.Go and listen to Kanye West sample another artist so he can have a hit.It was never going to live up to expectations with that long a wait but be fair to it,don't judge it against past albums.Guns N Roses might never better Appetite for Destruction, but then again who else has even come close to that masterpiece.
- lpferris, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2I'm not sure why you're getting Dugg down. I agree with you, and find that the albums that I don't instantly like on the first listen I end up liking much more in the long run.
And yeah, no one is ever going to better Appetite. That, sir, is undeniably true.- tigerpixel, on 11/20/2008, -0/+0Thanks!
- lpferris, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2I'm not sure why you're getting Dugg down. I agree with you, and find that the albums that I don't instantly like on the first listen I end up liking much more in the long run.
- gooch3803, on 11/20/2008, -2/+2This is Axl's (Im running out of money so i will put out a piece of ***** CD with my old bands name on it and some 15 year old ***** will buy it thinking this is real GNR music Album). GNR was a band that emphasized his voice and without that talent around him he just sounds like an out of breath angry teenager that did way too much coke and booze in his Hay Day.
Sadly enough, i will still probably find myself as being the owner of that album. god damn cruel world.
maybe ill just steal it... hmmm.- donkeySays, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3You sound misinformed, Axl was never into too much coke or booze. Infact, he was the cleanest of them all.
- jstem1994, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2It’s on my mp3 player right now, from a few weeks ago. I’ve just been too lazy to delete it.
- Ph03N1X418, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3It's funny how most people that say they liked it are getting dugg down for not supporting the hive mind.
I understand, hell, most of the diggers here were probably very young when GNR were on the scene.
I don't know how it stacks up against today's popular music, but it's not a bad album.
In no way, shape, or form does it even come close to Appetite for Destruction, however. Pretty strange without Slash.
I'm sure he'll get alot of sales simply due to the novelty of the album having been finally released.
On a side note; what's with the MLK samples on Madagascar? Think he's trying to apologize for "One in a Million"? - zaren, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I heard some GnR on a streaming radio station the other day, and dug out Use Your Illusion... and was blown away at how great that music still sounds. It's been a long time since I heard most of those songs, and the amount of craftsmanship in the arrangement of some of the songs blew me away. Sure, some of it was straight out kick-ass rock, but sit down and listen to "Coma" and the story-telling that's involved, or... heck, half of the songs on both albums and the range of musical styles Axl was experimenting with - some of the blues riffs and the acoustic piano parts are really refreshing to hear compared to some of the stuff that's out today. A shame GnR couldn't hold it together, it would have been interesting to hear another album or two out of them going down that road.
- Betrayer, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1im a bit confuded on how they plan on keeping people from recording it?
isnt it possible to split the speakers going out of your PC to the line in and re-record the song?
anything that comes out your speakers should be recordable, or am i missing something?
(ok its not a FLAC exact bit for bit copy, but neither was your grandpas vinyl.)
could you legally own the album if they played it for free and you recorded it?
- daryl3965, on 11/20/2008, -0/+0bootlegged? ;):D:P
- zkwarren, on 11/20/2008, -0/+0Wow! The talent shown there is comparable to that of "What's my age Again".
- 610dean, on 11/20/2008, -1/+1Star Wars effect. 10 years ago I would have been excited but, now I am focused on adult issues like survival.
- mike17032, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I like it. I liked it enough that I preordered it from the link at the top.
It does sound different than Older GnR, but so what? I hope Axl keeps making more music. - BonJoevi, on 11/20/2008, -0/+0thanks for the add :) comment me back!
