- RogueTomato, on 11/19/2008, -2/+14John Stevenson can pull this off with ease and make it look good.
- sanman, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1but will they keep Orko in it?
- rocman9, on 11/19/2008, -2/+11Kung Fu Panda had some surprisingly good action scenes with some pretty imaginative choreography. On the other hand, I looked up his IMDB profile and his only other director's credit is Father of the Pride, that awful CG adult sitcom experiment from NBC a few years back. Still, I'll hold out hope that this turns out alright. As long as they don't break out into song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGV7WsNAZyc
- superterrorizer, on 11/19/2008, -0/+7There's nothing more manly than...well, He-Man.
- Oztog, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2You obviously never watched the show...

- Oztog, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2You obviously never watched the show...
- splinter09, on 11/19/2008, -0/+9Wow, ages that I don't hear anything about He Man, that use to be one favourite cartoons when I was a kid, never missed and episode.
- ielephant, on 11/19/2008, -0/+6Go Mr. Stevenson.
- seraph582, on 11/19/2008, -1/+10Wait, why are people excited about a He-Man movie? I'm genuinely curious...
- duggtodeath, on 11/19/2008, -0/+12Bi-curious?
- mecharabbit, on 11/20/2008, -0/+7By the power of Greyskull!! How can you ask such a question?
- cdigioia, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Nerds reliving their childhood.
No offense intended, I'm just a bit younger and was excited about the Ninja Turtles movie instead.
- SuperVepr308, on 11/19/2008, -0/+9Can the Herculoids be far behind?
- texpundit, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3A Herculoids movie would be hilarious...
...but I really want a "Thundarr the Barbarian" movie...or maybe "Blackstar" movie. - arcangelgabriel, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I would be thrilled at a Herculoids movie.
- e61iuser, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Centurions is the way to go man.
Think about it. Power suits. Customizable battle configurations. Teleportation. A conflict between a villain who espouses a complete fusion with machines as opposed to humanity's using machines as complementary tools.
I'm crossing my fingers.
- texpundit, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3A Herculoids movie would be hilarious...
- cptmichael101st, on 11/19/2008, -2/+7The only images my brain can picture are from terrible, awful B-movies.
- haikuFU, on 11/19/2008, -6/+4I didn't know Stevenson directed gay porn.
- duggtodeath, on 11/19/2008, -7/+8This movie will be a gay action pic, like 300.
- mecharabbit, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I can foresee that Man-At-Arms will be in a lot of fisting scenes.
- alex3540, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4What about FISTO?
- mecharabbit, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I can foresee that Man-At-Arms will be in a lot of fisting scenes.
- Chassit, on 11/19/2008, -9/+4Lame. ***** He-man.
- russbyte, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2Why the hell click on an article about he-man, secretly read about it then say how gay it is... Dont click the link then you dumb ass. Its like seeing an article on some new super ballerina shoes... Why would you click it if it doesn't interest you?
- SexyFarts, on 11/19/2008, -5/+2i hope he doesn't kiddy it up by following the cartoon too closely...a talking Battle Cat/Cringer would be rediculous...keep Battle Cat, cut Cringer, and keep all the comic relief bits to Orko
- regularsteven, on 11/19/2008, -2/+7when I was a kid, I used to watch the He-Man movie over and over and over and over, but I saw it a couple years ago, and my enthusiasm diminished.
- MalarkeyPN, on 11/19/2008, -0/+17If it doesn't have Dolph Lundgren, I don't see what the point is.
- sanman, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1as I recall from the original movie, even Dolph couldn't see what the point was
- darthfenix, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2It better have She-ra in it...
- b1narymess1ah, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Oh god, I hate She-Ra. let's hope not.
- venicerocco, on 11/20/2008, -1/+4Just don't get Joel Schumacher -- He could easily slip into a campy gay version like Batman & Robin.
- e61iuser, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2I thought He-Man was already campy and gay.
- mattberrytr1, on 11/20/2008, -1/+1if theres boobies(not man boobs), sign me up
- e61iuser, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1Moobs.
- Cyrock, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2Kringer/Battle-Cat was awesome.
- mediaspree, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1esp. the action figure version!
p.s. is it my browser or digg that keeps logging me off
- mediaspree, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1esp. the action figure version!
- enderwiggin13, on 11/20/2008, -1/+7And so the rape of my childhood continues.
- spidoman, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Cause He-Man was soooooooo good back then.
You were raped in your childhood, you were just told to like it back then.
(I loved it then and now, He-Man that is)
- spidoman, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3Cause He-Man was soooooooo good back then.
- ptFoe, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2not another comic remake
brain dead hollywood - Betrayal, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2OMG I'm so relieved!
The world is a better place now. - mediaspree, on 11/20/2008, -1/+3Ugh. This will fail miserably. I was a huge He-Man fan back in the day but if they bring a CGI Orko to the screen I think my childhood might be raped a little. Like enderwiggin13 .
- s0lace, on 11/20/2008, -0/+4The best He-Man video evAr!!11

- b1narymess1ah, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2What, the Dolph Lundgren "Masters of the Universe" from the 80's wasn't good enough? lol
- KDeTo, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I know, they just don't appreciate good talent. :o)

- mykotron, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2KUNG-FU PANDA ROCKED!!!!!
but please mt. Stevenson. Have FAITH in the property. (i hate the term franchise, blech!)
Make it darker, less campy but don't exclude key characters as they did in the first one. DO NOT make the movie about some MCGUFFIN (like they did in the first one and unfortunately in Transformers movie) DO NOT involve EARTH IN ANYWAY. Make it a story about an amazing place called ETERNIA. A boy and his giant green feline type creature (no it doesn't have to be a cat, just a large creature!) who becomes the most powerful man in the universe to protect it. Keep Orco!!!!! Think BATMAN RETURNS treatment done to the entire world of Eternia, Skeletor, everyone, just make it more dark and real. And NO HeMan and Prince Adam don't necesarily have to be played by the same character. I would focus on a way of making a HULK type transformation where its the SAME GUY but he is skinny and just gets fairly massive when he becomes he-man and this is why noone suspects him as being the same guy. Just my two cents...- mykotron, on 11/20/2008, -1/+2And lets do something else that seems to be forgotten in hollywood. Don't explain everything!!!!!!!! Infact, don't explain hardly ANYTHING. We WANT the mystery, we don't want explanations to how anything works scientifically (metachlorians anyone?). Lets take the MAGIC back for this movie. Make Eternia a place where yes science has evolved and technology is astounding but so has MAGIC. A place where Magic and Technology have evolved side by side, THANXABUNCH!
- DigitalHippie73, on 11/20/2008, -0/+3I'm Man-at-Arms, but my friends call me Duncan.
- joshua5, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I AM WORRIED.
Who the hell is John Stevenson? Dude doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. For all we know he could turn into another Uwe Boll. KFP had TWO directors. We know nothing about this guy - bonius, on 11/20/2008, -0/+0Least its not Uwe Boll not directing, so Dugg
Anyone else have million captcha as names saved? LoL - Koushiro, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I thought Masters of the Universe was already made like ages ago?
Here we go, 1987 by Gary Goddard. I knew I saw it somewhere. I didn't even know digg stories could be this old?
